What a waste of an afternoon. Got suckered into showing up to this presentation because was offered a trip to Cancun. Gave them a $40 deposit, scheduled to visit two weeks later. After having to hear sob story after sob story from our salesman about how he's a single dad and how things are really rough for him. We were then put into a small room with 10 other couples, had to listen to the most god awful used car salesman persona try to pitch us a timeshare with dad jokes peppered in. The thing that really annoyed me was how often the salesman kept saying that I "DESERVED" a vacation. This entire presentation is just an IQ test to see if you can spot a scam and when someone is trying to pull one over on you. After the presentation we talked to another salesman one on one, had to hear his sob story about how he had a kid with a birth defect that miraculously wanted to do the same martial art I do that I mentioned to the first salesman. Explained we weren't interested in buying and just wanted our Cancun trip. We were sat down with a lady who started explaining how we would have to pay upwards of $300 in taxes and another $100 for a deposit for the trip...I just said no thanks, I'll just take my $40 deposit back and be on my way. She seemed really irritated that I didn't take the trip. This place is a scam for really dumb people.

They are amazing! They made it easy and affordable for us to travel More at half the cost. All of our dream vacations as a family just became a reality! I was a little leary of this at first but after coming to the presentation. Everything they told me was true. I did not have to buy anything at all and I left with the vacations that was promised to me. The Representative that was assigned to me was awesome and he answered all my questions.  I can not say anything bad about my experience with GEVC

Scam Alert: The presentation is extremely misleading. They show a video for RCI and lead you to believe they're hand in hand. They aren't. Literally all you're buying is 10,000 points a year (which they tell you gets you nothing during the presentation) and the OPPORTUNITY to buy extra and mini vacations through RCI. These extra and mini vacations are other people's timeshares that you can purchase (rent) IF THE "VILLA" IS AVAILABLE. The majority of reviews say there are never availabilities for the times they've searched. Not to mention the additional transaction and exchange fees that are never mentioned throughout the presentation. We're cancelling this immediately. We only have 7 days to get this cancelled, will update accordingly.
