Glori is perfect for date night, sophisticated conversations and stylish nights on the town!Guest must be 21+ years old. No pets allowed.Glori is introducing a new concept, no “vertical drinking,” ensuring that all guests are comfortably seated and served. We are intentionally a no standing room bar. We offer bar snacks only. We accept walk-ins on a first come, first served basis and reservations are recommended. We do not have group seating for parties larger than six 6 available to reserve online. You must email [email protected] to make a reservation. Without a reservation, we cannot guarantee large parties will be seated together."

Had post show cocktails at Glori and we will definitely be back!! Nice short walk up from DPAC to the bar. The decor is very nice, and even though it is in the basement it doesn't feel claustrophobic. The lighting & mirrors give it a nice vibe. Staff is super friendly & knowledgeable about the menu of drinks. They have some great classics and some of their own signature cocktails. My sidecar was delicious - light & lemony without being cloying sweet. The menu did have a few snacks but we didn't have food there. There is a sign on the street & on the door. When you walk into the building Glori is down to the right.
Wonderful new bar with amazing drinks! A bit hard to find at first - enter through the door directly across the street from Bar Virgile and turn right to head down the stairs, then enter through the door straight at the base of the stairs. All the cocktails we have tried here have been excellent - Glori is another addition to the very best cocktail scene in North Carolina: Bull City.

I’m a regular at Glori Cocktail Bar. I’m a tequila girl so my go-to drink is the Walk in the Park. I love the ambiance, atmosphere and especially the music. ETA - they had a special limited gin based Barbie cocktail that was divine
I loved the ambiance of this bar. The drinks were really delicious. That Walk in the Park was perfect. I went the day after Thanksgiving so it was dead but the service was lovely and I’m always a sucker for dope hip hop being played at a nice location. Walked in to Cappadonna eloquently kickin knowledge through the speakers. I’m just visiting a friend in NC but when I come back, I’ll be back to catch the vibe when people are out and about and not dying from food comas.

Great cocktails and it's really nice to see a few inexpensive beer & wine options. They also have a handful of low abv and N/A options which is great. The staff and owner are lovely and all the furniture is very plush and comfy.Food: 5/5
The Glori Bar is a cute hole in the wall vibe in downtown Durham. It’s an arm’s throw from DPAC so parking is plenty. I love the speakeasy feel. I had the Flying Monkey and my friend had the A Walk in The Park. Our server Nicki spellcheck was SOOOOOO hospitable, lively, and truly just gave the clear impression that SHE knew service. She recommended my drink to me since I love an Old Fashioned and she created the drink. This drink had bourbon, walnuts, black tea, and some other interesting flavors that enhanced the profile of the drink. My friends drink was a tequila based slightly citrusy feel. Both were really good and strong. The caramel popcorn was YUMMMMM! I’d definitely come back as even other staff members were truly a delight. This definitely a versatile atmosphere for girls/guys nights, happy hours, or dates/celebrations. Fabulous job Glori!
Really enjoyed visiting Glori for their first week of service. The vibe is unmatched and the cocktails are expertly balanced and full of delightful surprises. This is definitely the new Durham cocktail bar to watch!
Service was great, but the cocktails were not. Proportions on both of our cocktails were very off. One was wayyyy too sweet and the other daquiri was so watered down. They understood and took one of them off of our bill.
