Story

GLOSS was founded out of a desire to create an inspiring venue for hairstylists, colorists, and makeup artists to share their talent and the desire to provide an unforgettable salon experience for guests.

Inspired by regular trips to the Pacific Coast, the Sahagians have captured the quintessential, casual glamour that defines LA and Orange County to debut a salon unlike anything the area has ever seen.

Set against the backdrop of historic Whitford Hall, the space is a fresh and bright modern juxtaposition of historic, architectural details, mid-century influences, and a laid back, boho chic aesthetic. Unique products and on-trend services provided by the area’s top talent, the guest experience at GLOSS has been designed to be inspiring, pleasing, playful, and service driven.

Awful Awful experience here. I'm a gay man and was treated like a weirdo and made fun of by the owner under his breath. Other customers were pointing at me and laughing for the haircut i requested and highlights. Don't give your hard earned money to these people

Just got my hair done with James, a new stylist. We came up with a fun color combination and I can't wait to go back next month. The salon itself is really pretty as well and they use Pulp Riot color for the fantasy colors :)

I had a great experience at gloss during my first visit. I had a Groupon for a balayage with a cut and decided to give it a try. My stylist Brittany was great!!! I absolutely loved my color and cut. The 1 star comes from what happened with my next appointment set time. Prior to leaving my first appointment I had made an appointment for my next touch up on Jan 9th at 3pm because I wanted Brittany to do my hair. About a week after my appointment I was missing my highlights and decided balayage wasn't for me. I called the salon, asked for an earlier appointment and they didn't have anything so I told them I would call back. 2 days after Xmas I called again for another appointment. (I only work in Exton and live about 45 min away from the salon so preferred an appt after work to fit my schedule). The guy on the phone was great and got me in for a 1:30pm appt on Jan 9th. Now keep in mind I had an appt also at 3pm so the day before the appointment I'm receiving emails about my upcoming appointments and wanted to let gloss know I wasn't doing 2 appointments and wanted to keep the 130 and cancel the 3pm but had to leave a voicemail. They called me back the day before telling me I'm not in for a 1:30pm at all and only have a 3pm. Long story short, she didn't try at all to accommodate this issue. I had 2 emails confirming my appointments and she didn't care. I have had trouble trusting a salon after a bad hair dye experience and thought I had finally found the best salon. Than this happened. 😞 It's a shame because Brittany did an amazing job with my hair!

Came in for an express men's hair cut, had an amazing experience.  The prices for a men's cut is in line with the chain stores in the area, the icing on the care is getting a boutique experience.  Marty was my stylist during this visit.  She came up with the best approach to cut my hair, after looking over the hair growth pattern, as well as the hairline.  After moving to his area five years ago, I have finally found the best/ideal hair salon in the area.  The search has finally ended!  :)
