Story

Gloss started as an on-location Wedding Day Hair and Makeup business. In 2008 we opening the doors at Gloss Salon in Newark, DE and have expanded to three Brick and Mortar locations in Delaware. Gloss is a full service salon for all hair, makeup, lash extention and waxing needs. We are proud to use and retail Eufora International hair products. Gloss continues to offer on-location services as for Wedding Parties almost every weekend! We believe it is important to stay educated in the latest styles without forgetting the classics.

I had my wedding day bridal makeup and hairstyle from Lindsey and Gloss salon owner. The ladies were very nice and accommodated my last minute request for appointment for as early morning as 7:00am. The staff including the receptionist was very professional and took good care. Everyone loved my hairstyle up do and makeup for my big day. I would highly recommend all girls to their best at any day!

They literally destroyed my hair. When I got it lightened, they insisted on fixing it 3 times. I had beautiful long hair before and they fried it so badly that I looked like I had a mullet. HORRIBLE! My hair dresser in Nashville is amazing and 2 years later is STILL helping my hair recover. I tell everyone I can about my disastrous experience.

I used Gloss for my wedding and they were perfect. All the staff members were very professional and friendly whenever I dealt with them. They arrived on time to our location. One makeup artist and 2 hair stylists did 9 up-dos and 7 girls for makeup in four hours. We were all ready on time and looked great. I'm really happy with their services and would highly recommend them to other brides. A little pricey, but well worth it

My coloring did not turn out the way I wanted. The colorist did not take the coloring all the way to the root, so I had that awful grown out highlight appearance within days of my appointment.  Plus, I was at the salon for almost 5 HOURS. I have long hair, but NEVER have I been at a salon for that long for coloring. If you are picky about how your hair is done, I do not recommend this place.
