Story

Glover's Bookery is a large general used & rare bookstore with a well organized stock of over 80,000 mostly hardback books, antiquarian maps & prints, local and regional folk art, as well as African and South American tribal art. We have been buying and selling books since 1978. Our brick and mortar store is open Tue-Sat from 10am-6pm EST where you can find thousands of used and rare books for the scholar, collector, and general reader. We started selling books online in 1998 and never looked back. Today we have tens of thousands of books online and a shipping department you can count on. We are proud to be Members of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America and International League of Antiquarian Booksellers, the only professional antiquarian booksellers associations in the world. We offer appraisal services, and search services for hard to find books. The store atmosphere is often a desired setting for photographers and videographers. We require all photographers and videographers to set up an appointment and agree to our policy's if they wish to use the store as set.
