I recently took my daughter in to get her hair done for a performance. We went in as walk in customers. The workers were very friendly and the facility was great. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for great customer service and prices.

I recently moved into a house in Altoona and am looking for a stylist that is close to our new place. I happened to drive by Glow Salon and Spa today and saw a large walk-ins-welcome sign on the door, so I thought, great this is close and looks like a good place to try. Whenever I entered it was clean and hip looking, so I thought I was in luck. I asked if they could get me in for a haircut and was told "no, they were short a stylist and did not have the time." The lady I spoke to was friendly, but I was completely turned off by this. My old stylist would have NEVER turned a walk-in away. Its just my opinion that you do not put up the "walk-ins welcome sign" and not live up to the claim. I would have gladly waited as long as needed. I was in no hurry, but the option was not even presented to me. I also would like to note that there were only 2 people being styled at time and nobody waiting, even if there were only 2 stylist available.. it should have been no problem to put me in between, a haircut doesn't take but a few minutes. She did offer to schedule me at another time, but I declined.
 It seemed to me that they were not willing to "work a little harder" or "stay a little later" to accommodate, even if it meant acquiring a new client. I did not get my hair done that this salon, so they may very well do a wonderful job, but I will never know because I am definitely not giving them my service.

I love love love this salon! The ladies there are very attentive and make me feel special. They are excellent at what they do. I have had eyebrow waxing, pedicures, hair stylings, make-up done there and I would recommend all of it.
The decor is wonderful as well. The very first time I entered the salon, I felt as if I was walking into a high-end salon, that one might find in New York City.
