The only thing that I don't like is that it isn't open late on a Friday night. I know that not many people want to work out then, but I get off work at 9 M-F, and hate that there isn't quite enough time to actually workout after work on Fridays. The staff is great, the machines are nice and well maintained, and there is a good mix of people who have been working out for a long time, and those just starting. I also feel like there is no judgement if you are just starting (like me).

I love this gym. The staff is friendly and I just started personal training sessions with their most recent training team member, Kaitlin. Not to mention the different classes (rpm, BODYPUMP, etc) are fun and motivating as well. Thank you, Golds Gym!

All the staff & trainers are great and always willing to assist in any way they can. The facility is always clean & being cleaned.

Never going back to golds ever. And would reccomend anyone who goes to cancel their membership immidiately. I made the mistake of missing one single payment with them and they proceded to completely screw me over. So like i said i missed a payment no biggie right, as soon as i had the money i went online to pay it. It was more than i expected (65 as apposed to my usual 35) but whatever i could afford it at the time so i made the payment. Little did i know it takes a while for these online payments to process. So before it could process they proceeded to take 65 dollars. Then 35 dollars. Then 7.50 (no idea where this 7.50 was even coming from) out of my account. Now i didnt have that much in my account wich led to 2 innsufficient funds charges from my bank. Im annoyed. I go in and explain my situatigo, tell them i just want the charges to stop so i'll pay whatever it takes to stop it. Im told i owe 75. Again more than i expected but whatever, i can afford it. I then get a phonecall saying there was an error on their end with the payment and i actually have to write a check. This is followed by a 45 dollar charge to my account. Im very annoyed and angry at this point so i go in to cancel my membership. Im told okay, its all good they will refund my 45 dollars in 3-5 days and stop charging my account. All good right? No not all good. Later this day another charge goes through for 75 dollars. Wich i now didnt have in my account thanks to the first 45 dollar charge. So SUPRISE another insufficient funds charge from my bank. Im furious at this point. Its now cost me over 200 dollars to pay one late payment. Im just hoping in the 3-5 days i actually get my money back because i was told "since they go tgrough a third party they have no control over it but they put in a request" im seething. Save yourself the money and headache and just stick with smaller local gyms who actually care about their customers.

We've been members at almost every gym in Pocatello over the last 20 years and we like Gold's the best. The staff is always friendly and they have a good selection of equipment. It's a busy place and the equipment gets used allot, so upkeep is a problem as can be expected, but they try. Nice pool and sauna area to soak my old bones and make new friends. Never had any issues like some of the other ratings?? Work your machine!
