Don't like to complain about gyms because I am there to train and have a good time while doing so. But when u pay 40 plus dollars a month everything better be working properly just like my 40 monthly. Some cardio machines need to be replaced there needs to be more cleaning done and a smoothie bar would be optional. Other than that gym is great!!!

I am not a Gold's gym member. We recently moved to the area and I am searching for a gym to attend. From what I've read from actual or previous Gold's gym clients I do not want to spend my hard earned money here. From every complaint I've read, management sucks and do not take responsibility for anything. Instead they pun it off on Olof the owner. If every concern that arise cannot be handled by you and you constantly refer clients to the owner then why are you there? Why do you hold the title of manager? 
I do not know the membership fees but I'm sure it's hefty enough that clients should not be coming into your establishment with several broken machines. Customer service has gone out the window and most businesses only care to profit. Do not forget you need people to profit. 
If you desire to use contracts they shouldn't be cookie cutter. A thing called life happens. Maybe consider putting a contract on hold or cancel it totally depending on the situation. Why would you suggest to a client to get a doctors note as a means for her not to get charged 4 months because she recently had a baby just to tell her again it would be impossible? Ridiculous! 
As you can see people actually read reviews and because I did, Gold's gym in Killeen will never get my money.

Went to check out the gym, interested in new membership. I walk in and ask the two employees at the desk "May I check out the gym" the guys tells me there aren't any fitness consultants in. I then ask may I take a peek he says "no" and then continues to run his mouth with the other employee and another female who I'm assuming was a gym member. It was obvious they were having small talk. I'm not understanding if there were two employees at the desk why the male employee (whom I asked) couldn't just walk around and take a look with me. Nevertheless policies are policies, the extra chatter was very unprofessional, it seemed as if I was a bother to them. I'll take my money and business elsewhere, especially after reading the horrible reviews about the the staff who I ironically just dealt with in less than two minutes.

Smaller than normal Golds but has most of the equipment. If you like standing on top of each other while your using a rack then this is the place for you. Also if you like salty people that sneer at you the entire time your working out you are in double luck.

horrible customer service, my son tried to cancel his membership over a year ago and he was told they did. Money kept coming out of his account, he kept calling, no help. Finally after threatening with a lawyer it was cancelled but they are still taking money out due to some 30 day notification which he gave over a year ago. They don't care about people, its all about money. Don't waste your money.
