They do have affordable bicycle chains and tubes that seem superior in my opinion.  Kinda pricy on the tires but that's what ya get at one of those high end bicycle shops.  The mechanic guy is very friendly and helpful.   It is not one of those places to get your huffy tuned up if ya know what I mean.$$$

Thank you Doug & Co. for getting Avi's Cannondale up and running. You and your wonderful staff made our trek to the Mississippi River golden! 

Folks this was worth the detour off of the Trans Am Route for the repair.

Back in the summer of 1996 I was crossing the United States from Seattle, Washington to Washington DC. The owner of Golden Belt Bicycle Company stayed after closing hours to help with badly needed derailleur adjustments. Today I was reminded of his kindness when I came across a box of cycling memorabilia with the Golden Belt t-shirt he sent along with me on my journey.

Amazing shop! I was cycling across America and needed a new rear wheel (it had buckled). Doug built me a new wheel as soon as I asked the question. Amazing, could not have completed my trek without these guys :)

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about bicycles. They offer very good prices on new Trek bicycles and service after the sale, too. It's a good little shop and worth a visit.
