An all-time Belton favorite. Staff here is friendly and food is good. Large portions and reasonably priced. Food is consistently well cooked and seasoned well.

Great service very clean place prices are average to others. Hot fried chicken on a very cold New Year day was perfect

We have been here a few times and the food is always fresh and tasty.  I also love the lotta zing seasoning.

The food was very salty. Didn't eat it. Also the employees were at the front counter on there phones and more into what was going on on the phone than their customers. Personally wouldn't go back here.

I give this place ZERO stars. My grandmother had gone to Golden Chick to get us some lunch. When she brought it home and I had started eating it the first chicken was fine, but then I had gone and started eating my second piece of chicken. All I tasted at first was nothing but crunch thinking that maybe it was just fried batter which I would have been fine with. As I continued eating it I knew something wasn't right. I spit of the piece of food and pulled a piece of plastic out of my mouth. Feeling disgusted I examined the piece of food more and fried into it was more pieces of plastic. My grandma had also ordered the chicken salad and was eating it and started tasting the cartilage of the chicken which should obviously not be in the meal. We ordered MEAT NOT BONES AND MEAT NOT PLASTIC! We had called the store in Belton, Texas and they were nice on the phone but when we arrived their manager was extremely rude to us and practically in his own way of saying it told us to get lost. My grandma loves going to this place and prefers it over Bush's Chicken, but now because of this experience she will never go to it again. We believe in second chances and mistakes but now because of the rudeness from this store we will never go again.
