The Golden Gate Branch Library is turning 100 in 2018! We have served the North Oakland community for nearly a century.
We have a collection of approximately 35,000 items. Circulating materials are largely of popular interest with a strong emphasis on fiction, mysteries, DVDs, jazz music, and a fantastic children's collection. Golden Gate is well known for its Jazz on Sundays series, sponsored by the Friends of the Golden Gate Branch Library.
