We had a wonderful time on the dinner theater sleigh ride! We took our 4 and 6 year old kids and their Grandparents. The whole experience was perfect for all ages. The horses were huge and the sleigh ride was beautiful. When we walked into the cabin for dinner the ambiance felt like an old Western movie. The piano player was fantastic. The steak and salmon were amazing and we had huge portions. And the woman who plays Dixie did such an amazing job entertaining the whole crowd. My kids even loved the theatre part! I would highly recommend the dinner theater sleigh ride if you're looking for a memorable experience in Breckenridge for the whole family.
What an amazing experience this was! From the beautiful scenery on the drive to get there to the hot chocolate by the fire and the ride itself, this was one of my favorite things we did while in Breckenridge. We were lucky enough to have it snow the day before and while we were on the ride, so the fresh powder made everything look spectacular. The hot chocolate was very good, our guide was super cool and informative, and the views were postcard worthy. I would highly recommend this to everyone!!!
An unforgettable experience!! My family and I really enjoyed the sleigh ride; some even said it was the highlight of our trip to Colorado. The instructions to get there were very clear and easy to understand and the ladies working there were super friendly and accommodating. We even got a chance to pet and meet the horses beforehand.
The Golden Horseshoe Sleigh Rides in Breckenridge, CO is an absolute must do on your bucket list! From the moment you step foot on this truly beautiful property till the time you’re seated on the sleigh you will immediately feel peaceful, magical and will fall in love with this once in a lifetime treat! Our horse handler Mandy was kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable and made sure we were warm and took plenty of pictures! Their horses were magnificent and happy, rolling in the snow! Owner Jennifer and her team were all friendly and professional! We were treated to a delicious cup of hot cocoa and given the mugs to bring home. The memories made during this magical sleigh ride in the snow at the Golden Horseshoe was a dream come true! Thank you to you all and to my husband for treating us for our twenty-eight year wedding anniversary! Will bring our family back!
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our first sleigh ride. Our driver was fun and told a lot of interesting details about the place and history. You can tell they care for their animals. The wool lap blankets and hot chocolate were fun details. Just as a note, you definitely do not ‘dash’ through the snow. It’s a very slow ride and also pretty short. Not as exciting as I had hoped, but maybe that’s because I have ridden and driven horses a lot. Definitely not enough to knock off a star. Great experience and great place!
We made reservations for a private sleigh ride for our 25th wedding anniversary and don’t regret a moment! My husband built me a miniature snow man by the fire while we waited. Our driver was Jenn and the horse was Willie. It literally was a dream come true… We upgraded to chocolates and had a warm mink blanket to cover our legs during the ride. When we returned I was greeted with a small bouquet of beautiful flowers. We also had hot chocolate by the fire. Highly Recommend!
What a magical experience! When you arrive they give you delicious hot chocolate as you wait for your sleigh. They give you a blanket for your sleigh ride, you have time to take pictures, and take in the beautiful scenery. Such an amazing experience. We booked the private Sleigh Ride and it was worth every bit of it. From the moment you walk into the tent you feel transported back in time. The hot chocolate was amazing and the staff was a delight. Would highly recommend making this part of your adventure. It won’t disappoint!
Booked an exclusive romantic package private sleigh ride for our family 4 adults and 2 toddlers and it was truly a fantastic time. Ruby the horse and Jen the driver were perfect hosts and gave us an unforgettable experience! From delicious hot cocoa to a great bonfire and authentic setting, the entire trip was a wonderful time!
