My stay was nice. Everything was clean  plus the hotel is quite affordable. The workers were very friendly.  Front desk gave us a coupon with a free drink in a nearby bar. Good location, Lido beach is just 12 minutes away.

Pictures on the website are not even close to how the rooms actually look. The bed felt like I was sleeping on concrete and was so old it was sunken pretty severely in the middle. At check in, the front desk clerk asked for my credit card to put on file for "liability" purposes and never mentioned anything about taking $50 off my card as a deposit. It wasn't until after I called the next day after I had checked out and was persistent with the lady that answered that I got my deposit back. Hours later.

Needed a place to stay for the night, the website said 18+ when I go to the hotel, the lady (Eisha) didn't greet me with the best customer service. Told me I was wrong and must have checked the wrong website when booking it. Probably the worst customer service I have ever received staying at a hotel. They were going to charge me an extra 50 dollars for staying overnight and it's been pending since. Do not recommend staying at. Breakfast was just cereal and coffee. No one was at the front desk when checking out. If you want terrible customer service and a "great" breakfast highly recommend this place.

I really enjoyed my stay at Golden Host Resort, in Sarasota. The Hotel had a nice appearance, and the grounds were well kept. The pool and pool area were well maintained. The room was nice, clean and even smelled good when I came in. Their location is pretty central to everything I needed to do during my stay.  The staff was friendly, courteous and Alex helped me out when I needed a couple of copies made. Great place, Great people.

Definitely surprised me after all the bad reviews i read prior to staying here but i loved it honestly the front desk attendant was awesome! My stayed included 2 free drinks at the hotel bar and only paid 100.56 with tax. The room and bathroom are huge, a porch that lead me to the pool and a mini kitchen. Honestly couldn't ask for more for that price. They recently remodeled and it looks great! Definitely staying here when i come back to sarasota !
