Excellent food and great customer service.  By far the best Chinese food in Peoria.  

Honestly, I haven't tried that many dishes because I keep going back to my favorites.   The sesame chicken, general tso' s chicken,  Sichuan chicken, and pepper steak are all excellent choices.   Fresh ingredients freshly cooked!  

Also, the crab Rangoon is the best I've ever had.  Always cooked fresh and a great flavor!

Every time I visit Peoria i have to get a meal at Golden Kitchen!

More of a order to go type of place, with the option of eat in. If your eating in most of the plates and tableware are plastics, soups and other food that has lots of liquid comes with real bowls and spoons, water are given in bottles. Foods are not overly salted like other chinese restaurant but may be a bit plain to some who wants a stronger flavor in their food. Overall it's a good place to grab and go for freshly made food but if you want a real sit in restaurant environment then it may not be the best place.

I just ordered $30 worth of food that just wasn't what I expected. I've ordered from this restaurant before and it's been decent, they are very clean and the customer service is great, but tonite.... The food was dare I say aweful. Mind you I ordered 30 mins before closing but you'd think since it wasn't a cheap order the food would be made with better quality. It all taste thrown together and very bland. I ordered House fried rice, wings and mushroom with beef which was more mushroom then anything.... and canned mushrooms!!! The sauce was thick and just not right.... I typically order from Ming Shee on University. Their food is ALWAYS right and of good quality. Besides the wings (which are amazing) the food tonite from Golden Kitchen just wasn't good. The chicken in the rice was dried out and hard to digest, there was like 2 shrimp in the house fried rice, completely disappointed and should of stuck with my first mind and not ordered.
