Best beef patties in Hartford CT hands down…. Anytime I’m on the road or near a Golden Krust I have to stop in. Always hot, always fresh, and quick service. I don’t go anywhere else, and they also serve fresh food. Soup is always on point. My go to spot.Food: 5/5

Do not come here looking for good service! The food is decent SOMETIMES. The first time i went and got the lunch special the food was nice and fresh. Today, i ordered two meals. The rice was dry, kingfish was tough and i asked for jerk chicken, the employee went to the back and put two old pieces of baked chicken in my plate.I threw it all away because it was disgusting. I should’ve opened it before i left. He came back laughing and whispering to the other employee and i was very confused. The employees are always rude. I am Caribbean so i understand how we can be but in a business, they should handle themselves better.

 Visited Golden Krust for lunch and it was a hit! The spinach patties and rice were delicious. Everything was clean, the service friendly, and the food consistently great. Highly recommend! Food: 5/5

Hi guys, so like, I just went to Golden Crust and like, OMG, the macaroni in cheese was totally dried out sitting there on display. Eww, and don't even get me started on the dried peas in the rice and the undercooked veggies. The only thing that was fresh were the patties. And like, hello, the employees were just standing around chit chatting. Like, seriously? I love Golden Crust, it's one of the best Jamaican restaurants to go eat at, but this was hands down the worst one I have ever been to. Like, not even kidding. #disappointed

I love going to Golden Krust. I never had any issues with my order. Every Easter  & whenever I want my Jamaican fix, I  go get my bun n cheese from them. Their beef patties are on point...everything is delish...big up to the Hawthorne family for never disappointing. Oh & their coco bread is awesome, also their cocktail patties...afterall I am Jamaican, so yes, I  know good food. BIG UP UNUH SELF

I ordered Ackee from here today through door dash and this is literally how it came. It looks like someone ate from this plate and they call this a large. I will not be ordering from this dusty location again.

Very slow service. Male employee is rude to customers and coworkers. Disorganized. Food is uncovered and the whole setup did not look appetizing. The chicken was dry and tough. The festival was rock hard for the most part. I will continue to go to golden Krust when I’m in ny or mass, which is why I don’t want to give it one star, but I won’t be back to this location. It would be a waste of my money. One good thing is they do offer lunch specials, but what’s the point If the Food doesn’t taste good?

Been a customer since the early days of this location in Hartford,  CT, and have relocated out of state. I think the customer service has gone to the next level in courtesy,  friendliness and promptness.  Keep it up!  Parking: Like that the entrance to parking is on the side street Woodland St., not on the very busy Albany Ave.

If you are ordering through a third party app, don’t bother . I’ve tried to order three different occasions through different apps and they always  cancel it , never have what I order in stock , and are disgustingly rude to the couriers picking up for customers and don’t even bother to help them substituteFood: 1/5
