I just wanted to big up this Golden Krust. The service is always great and food is good. My mom had a stroke 12 days ago and she is in the hospital on a soft and moist food diet/bite size. She wasn't eating the hospital food I then thought maybe a beef patti meat she can eat since it's moist and soft if I cut it for her. My hair stylist recommended I go here to get it. Let me tell you my mom has ate the beef Patti's from here the last 2 days she said they good and fresh. Thank you guys you are a blessing in so many ways my mom ate the Patti's they were nice and the soft filling is exactly what she needed. Thank you! God bless! The food is good but the customer service is horrible!!! And I have visited multiple times. If this restaurant is going to be a stable in the community for a long time they must improve their customer service. Having good food is not enough because there are other restaurants with the same standard of food but serves with care. Golden Krust on Merrick, please do better!
Customer service at this location is horrible. Avoid at all costs. They clearly don't want business. It's a shame because the food tasted really good the time I had it. I walked in the other day it was empty. The two workers saw me and just continued with their personal conversation. I walked out. Too many other places to get treated disrespectfully.
The food is really good but the service really needs improvement the poor cashier has to be serving under eats and sharing food plus cashing. The floor needs cleaning but I guess because of the traffic there it's like that.but overall great food. Food: 5/5
Came to this store to order today! Stood and waited in line! One girl told me that the order was not ready! I waited another 20 minutes! When she collected it again, she told me that the order was not ready, although it was ready! After I felt that she did not want to give it to me and answer my questions! This is complete discrimination! I advise everyone to avoid this place! Because racists work there!
I agree with L.. Really good food! May be the best golden krust in Queens. But the WORST customer service you will ever receive. I have been here countless times and the service is ALWAYS the same. It doesnt matter if the line is going out the door or no line at all, you will wait! So if you have a limited lunch time, go somewhere else. If you order pickup trying to save time expecting your food to be ready when you get there, go somewhere else. It's sad that we are this way!
Decent food - nothing better than any other Jamaica spot in the area. No sense of customer service, friends and family skipping lines all the time. Expect to wait 15 mins inside the store even if you’re only buying sides/drinks which are already prepared. UPDATE: THEY HAVE AN ONLINE ORDER FEATURE DIRECT THROUGH GOOGLE NO NEED TO USE UBEREATS/DOORDASH etc Highly recommend ordering ahead : Best of luck to this store but they gotta figure out their front staff and move a lil faster. What’s the point of buying a patty when they leave it on the counter and you don’t get to pay for 15 minutes? By then the food is already cold! Can’t imagine how much worse that is when you’re buying a full meal.
I like this Golden crust over all others. The food always presented well and is delicious. Line moves quickly and so does the food, which is great because it's fresh and not sitting there all day.
Over 30 minutes for beef patties I was told would take 5 minutes to come out from the back. I was never once updated or acknowledged. I walked out. You would think it was a surprise someone would order beef patties at 5pm. I will never step foot in another Golden Crust. This is not the first example of poor customer care.Food: 3/5
The food here is good but they have the WORST staff i have ever encountered. They are so rude and impolite and it hurts my heart to see they have no customer service at all. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, THERE ARE ALOT OF OTHER JAMAICAN RESTAURANT AROUND THE AREA. SUCH ASHAME I HOPE THIS PLACE GOES BANKRUPT OR GETS BURNED DOWN.
