So I read the reviews on this place before I went and I must say the reviews did this place no justice. This place is really nice, although we went on a Friday night and we had to wait until 9:30 because they had leagues bowling at the time. We had three lanes minus the hang ups of one of the lanes not resetting (normal) we had a great time. The rest rooms were clean, the food we ordered was fresh and good. The music was not bad either we danced and bowled all night overall we had a great time. Time flys when your having fun we started bowling at 9:35 pm and we left at 12:00

Haven't been skating in a while. Decided to come here instead of bowling on a Saturday night. Arrived around 7p.m...Had fun with my family for the most part. But it was certain songs we requested that didn't get played, or the man playing the music just plain out said "NO WAY"  But they would rather play songs with lyrics like" a lady in the street, but a freak in a bed".. But Golden skate is family-owned? It was okay.. Just won't be going back.

It's past time to do a total renovation of the skating ring and bowling alley. I hadn't been in 2 yrs at least but went to celebrate bday. Although the computer equipment for the lanes has been updated, the seating area for players and guests needs to be updated along with bathrooms and everything else. There was an option of $12+ tax for unlimited bowling for 2 hrs that included shoes. Everyone at the lane has to go for it if 1 person in the party does. Also, I have my own bowling shoes but still had to pay the full $12. The other option was $4.75/game which we should have done. 2 games would have been enough. We had 6 players split between 2 lanes. 2 hrs is long. The bowling alley really needs to invest in some bowling balls especially of different weights. Most were too heavy and affects the game. Otherwise had fun and enjoyed the glow in the dark bowl.

Great vibe. Friendly staff. Always a smiling face. New menu in snack bar. Music at times in bar.

Great price for the 2hour bowl! Lounge is fun. Only complaint is that we had to wait an hour or so to bowl because of league and groups, but that’s understandable.
