After searching for Chinese food near me for lunch with a friend, we came upon the Golden Pheasant and decided to give it a go. Although the exterior was a little sketchy looking, the place was busy and proudly displayed an "A" from the health department, so we decided to give it a go. We were seated almost instantly, but that was the fastest part of our whole experience. The waiter didn't listen to us or bother to ask for specifications on our lunch specials, (there were multiple options, and we wondered if we hadn't asked, what would he have brought us?) And that was the last time we saw him. Over the next 30 minutes, different parts of our meal were brought at different times, with our appetizer and one entree arriving together, and the other entree 10 minutes later. They brought the wrong thing, they took it away,  they brought it back, and didn't bring us water until we had asked 3 times. After all of this, why 3 stars? The food was alright, and there was plenty of it. For the price and the quantity, it was almost worth the service. If I ever decide to patron this establishment again, I'll order takeout.

Good Food, very affordable. Really Good Lunch Specials. Service also improved significantly. More attentive, warm and friendly. The quality and freshness of the ingredients, more flavor. Parking is easy.

Orange chicken was the best.... it had succulent juicy pieces of white meat with the amazing sweet and spicy sauce!! Can’t wait to get it again!
