Awesome place!! Clean and very peaceful.  Full hookups, close to big trees, lake Alpine.  We will be back with family soon

Golden Pines is a beautiful place to camp. The location is perfect, as you can stay in the campground and enjoy the tall trees and scenery or head up the road to the Stanislaus River or Lake Alpine where you can fish, swim, paddle board, canoe, kayak, or eat and drink at the local lodge. You can head back down the road to Arnold for grocery shopping, food, or entertainment. The hosts were so incredibly kind! This was only our second camping trip with our new trailer and the hosts helped us so much. They found us an accommodating campsite for our trailer and even taught us how to back it in with ease. They made rounds around the campground to ensure everyone had what they needed and were enjoying themselves. We were so impressed with the hosts, the campground and the location, that we can't wait to go back again and again!

Great place to camp. Facilities are clean and well maintained. The camp hosts, Ken and Bonnie were friendly and helpful. No Permanent Campers - there are about 20 people that have their trailers stored up there, they are a great group of people and gave us some great info on what to do in the area. The bath and shower rooms are newly remodeled and really clean. The pool was closed, it looks nice but they said when the water gets down below 65 no one swims so they close it for the winter, I don't usually swim in October anyway. We will defiantly stay here again.

Very polite staff, I'm always treated well, they know how to accommodate me every time I book a site. Clean, full hookups, restrooms are clean spacious. WiFi not so great but dnt care because it's such a relaxing place to camp!

Nice and quiet. Very friendly staff. Always let us know all the interesting thing to do in the area.
