Golden Shopping is a third world style back alley small businesses that serve the locals. If you need training before visiting south Asia this is a good place to test yourself. There is two levels of business stalls. It can be for food or novelties or clothes. You probably won't get sick eating here but you'll definitely feel uncomfortable.

Golden shopping mall is the original food court in Flushing and it certainly has a much more funky atmosphere than the other newer places. I like that old school rabbit Warren feel of the space. It's not the most comfortable but you can still get delicious food like the dumplings everyone really loves the lamb and squash dumplings. I like to get Jian Bing here. I think the original Xi'an famous foods is here. The Szechuan food stall is also quite good. If you want something that's more spacious and seemingly cleaner check out New World Mall or New York food court which are both nearby.

The original Flushing fast food spot. It's dirty and dingy. Total dive. But the food is delicious. It is for the locals and the brave. Not for tourist that can't speak Mandarin Chinese. Don't be a tool and try to have the explained what it is. If you don't have a clue what you are buying here… just don't do it. This is the hardcore Chinese food spot. You can't get any better than this. I have ate in almost all the places in Flushing, I still come here regularly. When I say regularly I mean like 3-4 times a week!

This is a no frill of the mill authentic Chinese cuisine. Don’t go here for the vibe, the music, the great seating, the polite service. Do not go here if you’re trying to get an order of General Tso chicken with an lousy egg roll on the size ... go for the authentic Chinese food! Some of the best hand pulled noodles I’ve ever had.

Great place for authentic Chinese cuisine (they have a good selection of halal food too!). The Mall has diverse food stalls (mostly northern China food) with narrow pathways and seatings. The lamb & squash dumpling at Tianjin Dumpling is a must.
