This is where I get my hay and I am always taken really good care of when I come. Customer service is great and they get me in and out fast.  I have been purchasing hay from them for 2 years and it is always good quality and I have never had to return a bale once. That says a lot for a feed store because sometimes mold and other things in the hay is hard to avoid during certain times of the year. This means they have a good relationship with the growers they purchase from. Very important.  They have many other animal products besides just feed and can give you a lot of information on how to take care of your animals.  I love that they are a small family business. Supporting the people that make our community great is so important!

This is where we bought the feed for our market swine.  Staff is always friendly, helpful and willing to assist!!!

Best feed store in county! Dependable, truthful, and knowledgeable, man. The service is great and always a new variety of animals to see.

Very disappointed with the service when trying to place an order.  The owners are nice, but do not know how to run a business.  They can never confirm a total amount for your order without calling you back.  They can rarely tell you the day, much less the time, that a delivery will arrive.  They usually take most of a day or more to return your phone call.  When my order hasn't come, i have had to be the one to track it down and find out if it is coming or whether I need to go to another feed store so my horses won't go hungry.  This last incident kept me guessing for 3 days, and finally on a Saturday evening I was able to get hold of Edgar and ask him when they were coming and he didn't seem sure.  He said if they came that evening that he would have to charge me a $20 delivery charge.  If he had told me on Wednesday that they would not be coming, I could have ordered from somewhere else.  Edgar argues and sees nothing wrong with the non-communication and guessing games, nor with the $20 delivery charge to an unhappy customer.  Too bad.

I have been more than happy with the service and selection at GSH. Edgar has been very, very helpful over the last few years in teaching me about raising chickens. My kids love to go with me and see all the animals, it's like a free petting zoo.I now have a flock of 26 happy chickens that are descendant from chicks that I bought at GSH. I am very happy that he now carries organic feed, that was my only previous complaint.
