On the evening of Oct 11,2017 ...I went to celebrate a very happy occasion of my continued good health (as I had a scare that week of a  potential problem.).. as a cancer survivor...but sadly my evening out with my husband was not the same...our service was very poor and we felt like we were an inconvenience to everyone in that restaurant ...we were seated  by the head lady as we know who she is as we do bring our company here quite often(which we might rethink in the future) and forgotten about until a waitress going by said..”we weren’t in her section but she saw we weren’t waited on” ..Oh ,how nice of her!  She brought us two waters...and we said we would have our coffees a little later,,,I ordered a wine .
The rest of the evening went about the same..no refill of OUR water glasses,the liver I ordered could hardly be found under the mound of fried onions....no coffee offered until we were finished our whole meal...she offered coffee after we’d sat there with our  empty dishes piled up on one another for a while...but she DID come  back with the bill..We finally went to find somewhere to pay our bill ourselves,and then I told her that we felt the whole experience was like we were an inconvenience...so she admitted to me ..
,”really the girls were not sure who was supposed to wait on us ,so she did because we had no one else,so my feelings of being an inconvenience were confirmed....I wasn’t pleased at all with my quantity of liver, which was so tiny and shaved...or our after thought service..so I told her....but she said that’s too bad....( like who cares) I told her it wasn’t her fault but I wanted her to know  ...BUT because I was in a happy mood that day  no one in that restaurant was going to spoil my mood... but we surely were not made to feel welcomed yesterday in The Golden Valley....

We were there last weekend and had reservation for my parents special night 50th anniversary . There was 12 of us and my 102 year old grandmother. When we got there the table was not ready because the other people that booked the room at 4 was still in the room. So 6:45 rolls around and still not table to sit at. They really didn't try to hard to get another table ready for us. So finial around 7 they put together some tables for us. We got out drink orders and finial I had to go ask them when the people left the room I had to ask them to get the room at 7:20 😡ready that we reserved for 6:30. So we moved into the room finally . I know it's hard to know how long people stay and visit but maybe when u go to book people  leave enough time . Over all I won't be back no thanks 😯

Food was excellent as usual. Meeting family there was good. Service was very good also. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Was excellent, above and beyond. Service and the food was just to die for.Last night turkey dinner was one of the best I have eaten.

Great food and the price is still the same on the take out side from when i came here for lunch in high school 24 years ago.  Delicious and within the budget A+++ in my books
