I have been a regular customer at this salon since they opened in September 2010.  The owner, Lee, is one of the kindest, most accommodating business owners I have ever met.  The pedicure spas and wax rooms are clean and well maintained.  The staff are friendly and do a great job.  I am frankly shocked by some of the prior reviews about the owner being nasty or the staff demanding tips.  As a weekly/every other weekly customer for almost 7 years, I have never, ever witnessed this.  Although Lee treats her staff very well, she would not tolerate that type of behavior from her staff.  And I know for a fact (because I also speak Chinese and have overheard her make notes) that when customers stiff the employees on tips, she will make up for it herself, which obviates the need for the employees to demand tips.  

With respect to some of the commentary about inconsistent quality of service...I do know that some of the staff who do fills have turned over in the past few months due to various personal issues.  Along with that turnover came some teething issues which have since been resolved.   

Overall, I highly recommend this salon.  The added benefit of this nail salon is the massage room attached to the nail spa - all of the massage staff are outstanding, and the prices are very competitive.

I've had them demand "More" or ask "is that all?" in front of other people.  I tipped 8 dollars on a 20 minute chair massage that was 20 dollars in total.  They always try and upsell you.  Clean place sure, qualified people there, but the attitude needs to go.

Golden Nails has always been a go to nail salon for me. All the workers are patient and do the best job. The owner is very understanding with everything and does the best she can to please her customers. I give them a 10/10 and will highly recommend to anyone asking for a good nail place.

I'm super picky and usually never feel satisfied by salons. I was pleasantly surprised by their service the first time. Excellent work and wonderful customer service. They took me right away without an appointment and were very clean and friendly. 

So went back a second time and acrylic fill in was ok. I told girl I wanted square and she rounded all edges. I was annoyed but overall good job. 

Today I went back for a pedicure and fill in and I must have gone on an off day. Terrible uneven nails for pedicure and horrible fill in job. My nails were wide at the tips and I looked like Teresa Caputo. I asked the girl a few times to fix things I didn't like and she completely ignored me. Will never go back again unless I am getting a massage.
