Dr. Barnes is a total rock star of a surgeon! Our 2 year old Husky was in need of immediate surgery and we had little hope for him;  that is until we saw Dr. Barnes. He and his staff were so accommodating and empathetic to our family and that gave us the confidence and a peace of mind we needed. Oakley is now 10 days post surgery and is doing AMAZING! Dr. Barnes saved him and we can not express our gratitude enough to him and his staff for all their care! I feel it's important to note that we saw a different vet first who was not as positive about the situation and was not qualified to perform the surgery. Doctor Barnes may seem like his has a very analytical brain and some people may shy away from him for that purpose BUT when you need an intricate surgery done like we did, THAT is exactly the kind of Doctor you want operating on your pet. To top it off he showed genuine compassion when he saw the situation was stirring an emotional reaction in our family. That is what a great Doctor looks like to us! Thank you Goldorado for your 5 star service!

Although Dr. Barnes who has treated Tex for 10 years was out of town, Dr. Amanda stepped right in and was awesome.  When we realized Tex was not going to survive, Dr. Amanda and her staff showed so much compassion and concern it helped make the process easier for us.  We miss our Tex but we know he was in the very best of hands.  Thanks so much - I have been a client of Goldorado for over 20 years and they never fail to treat our pets with the utmost of care!

We were headed to the lake with our 3 labs when my 11 yo got so excited she was having a hard time breathing so we took her to Dr. Barnes, he took x rays and discovered a melon size tumor in her stomach, which required surgery 2 days later. He his the best  vet surgeon I have ever seen! My Daisy is so much happier & healthier now.  Thank you Goldorado staff and  Dr. Barnes!

Goldorado Animal Hospital is... well... AWESOME!

I have taken my pets to several vets over the years.  I began going to Golodorao in 2013 and am so very happy that I did.  

The staff and doctors are absolutely amazing.  Caring, considerate, and trying to save me some money when possible...but without in any way compromising the health and caring for my four-legged family members.

Dr G was so great with our boy, herman..  she diagnosed him quickly and responded quickly which saved his life.  I am forever grateful for her.
