For me personally, this school was exactly what i needed. I went to school with no experience in the business at all, only a love for a game that I played a few times a week. I went into school as a 27 handicap and graduated as an 8. I took every class serious and learned a lot. When I was there a year ago, they had 3 PGA Master Professionals teaching and several other PGA pros as well. You have the opportunity to volunteer for prestigious events and play the best golf courses in the Orlando area as well as visit the World Golf Hall of Fame. I took advantage of networking with important people in this industry while at school as well. Keep in mind though, this school may not be for everyone. If you are a good player and already have some experience in the business, I would suggest getting involved in the PGA program, either the University Program or the Apprentice Program. Many graduates of the Golf Academy of America get into the PGA program after graduation. For me personally, I would never have been able to get into the PGA program without GAA. The preparation I received at GAA is making my progress through the PGA program very easy.
