I try to come in and shop here every Friday. It's the only time there prep meals are $12 each, which I believe is a bit pricey for the size and quality. Emphasis on "try to." At least half of the time, they are out of 75% of their stock. I was told that I can call early in the morning and provide my credit card information then they will hold my food for me, but you would think that they would simply bring more product to their stores each week when they know that they are going to sell out quickly. The food itself is pretty good although you have to watch the nutritional labels. Some of them have between 150 and 180% of the daily recommended amount of cholesterol. And that is in just one small prep meal. I will say that the place is always clean and the lady at the register is always polite and informative. I just wish they would do a better job of keeping their products in stock. With a few adjustments, I think that they would have much more success.
Incredible clean and tasty meals and amazing customer service! I've never found a meal prep service with such well made and delicious product. It's hard as a mom to always eat clean but they make it so much easier. Plus there's a pretty amazing salad bar on the store too. I recommend them to people all the time!
Wow!!! This food was amazing. While traveling to visit friends in the Baton Rouge area, I googled healthy food options, and Fresh Kitchen was recommended by several people. Hence, I stopped in and got the blackened salmon, and it was delicious!! Can you say flavor??!! Chef Dan please keep it up! I don't know you, but whew this food has so much flavor. I live in Houston, and I buy food from Snap Kitchen. However, it doesn't have this type of flavor. Whew! I wish I lived here or they delivered to Houston because it was delicious. In addition, Lindsey was sweet and talked to me while I ate my food. She is an asset to the company...such a genuine person. I will return whenever I'm in this area.
I went daily for ten -14 straight months, very good prepared meals. The white girl in there always gave me an attitude or was rude. I finally told her one day, if you don't want me to come and quietly buy food let me know.
Fresh kitchen offers prepared meals made fresh that you can take home and enjoy. All their meals are relatively healthy and I've enjoyed each meal I've had from here. It's a bit pricey but with the quality of food they offer, it seems worth it.
Just found a new favorite -- Zoodles & Turkey Meatballs. The meals are delicious and filling. Very easy to scan the bar codes on meals to record / track calories and nutrition on My Fitness Pal App. Grateful to discover this FRESH option for healthy meals.
The healthy meals are fresh and better than I expected. I had not really heard of this place but overall I liked 8 out of the 10 I purchased. I don’t live around here so I won’t get to use them often. But I would recommend.
My whole office used the Waitr app to order lunch from Fresh Kitchen. Everything was absolutely delicious!!! The food was excellently seasoned and the flavors were fresh. We will definitely get good from Fresh Kitchen again!
I...LOVE...THIS....PLACE! SO MUCH BETTER Than buying pre-made meals ONLINE! Go And Check These Guys Out! Food Is Good! Annnd $35 for 5 meals Friday!!! $9 for large meals and $5 for Small meals! I Just Go By And Pick Up The Meals, I DON'T HAVE TO GET TIED UP WITH WAITING FOR A PACKAGE DELIVERY! AWESOME!
I travel to the area a lot and it is, hands down, the best way to get healthy lunches and dinners in an area otherwise filled with huge portions of fried salty food light on vegetables. The meals are tasty and filling and cost less than going to a restaurant. Win/win situation for me.
