So my grandson got into an altercation with another boy, This boy continues to spit and kids. So his father came out and grab my grandson my his shoulders and was dragging him down the street. So Sgt Vasquez and Officer Milliken came out and said they are not pressing charges on this man. So they are saying it's ok for an adult to put there hands on a child. And they the boy is 10 and he was walking his dog and the dog bit my grandson. They boy named Basil was walking his dog and he let the leash go and Officer Aarons I quote " We will not press charges on a ten year old just because he could not restrain the dog" unquote". So I read there is a law that if you let a child walk a dog they should be able to restrain that dog if something was to happen. Maybe goose creek has a different law book.(4) A dog is deemed to be "running at large" if off the premises of the owner or keeper and not under the physical control of the owner or keeper by means of a leash or other similar restraining device; (5) A dog is deemed to be "under restraint" if on the premises of its owner or keeper or if accompanied by its owner or keeper and under the physical control of the owner or keeper by means of a leash or other similar restraining device; here is some of the law about dogs on leashes.

I used the House Watch program when away, and they discovered an attempted break in at my residence. They responded quickly and were professional and courteous throughout. Officers assisted in securing the residence to prevent any future unauthorized entry, which took a while and involved some heavy labor. I think that this went above and beyond their duties, and it is deeply appreciated.

Last night around 1 am, I heard what sounded like dogs barking in my neighbors yard and down the street. Motion sensor lights came on and off and my dogs were pacing (which is very rare) so I called and asked if an officer would come out just to check our properties in case someone was trying to break in. Within 5 minutes, 3 patrol cars came up and searched everywhere... to find a lost boxer :( Obviously, I felt like an idiot but they reassured me everything was okay and "at least he'll have somewhere warm to sleep tonight" Very professional and sweet.
