Compact deli with imported goods and fresh foods. This deli sells made-to-order sandwiches, as well as some fresh foods made earlier. Imported packaged goods from Europe, such as sauces and baking ingredients line the shelves. Also, frozen and refrigerated foods are available. All the food is pretty reasonably priced. Checkout is pretty straightforward. The business will be closing down soon. "For Lease" signs are posted outside. If you're looking to try some imported European foods, I recommend having a look around this deli.
Micheal was amazing! My guy can be kind of blunt with his deep voice. But Micheal was so sincere and polite. Not to educated on Russian food, Micheal helped emensly. Thanks for dealing with tourists and hope to see you again. We did not mind spending at all. Was totally worth it. Btw sandwich was the bomb. Fresh thin sliced ham! Muah!
Love the store, but came for the piroshki. The piroshki themselves were about average, the meat filling was almost pâté like and was pretty sparse, the rest were pretty doughey
Tried the $9.99 sandwich advertised at the door. It was pretty good! Took about 5 minutes to get but it was worth the wait. Also, $.99 canned sodas up front! The woman tending to the business is very polite. This place accepts card payment.
This place is awesome. I highly recommend the box of chocolate-dipped wafer cookies. They have an exceptionally rich chocolate flavor. And if they were served in a coffee shop, you'd get one with your cappuccino and not blink an eye at paying $4.50. And you get six. Three chocolate-almond, with lovely almond pieces sprinkled on top, and three chocolate-chocolate. The chocolate-chocolate ones have this amazing thing going on in them where the wafers inside the cookie have this very thin, crispy glaze on them, almost like the sugar crust on a creme brulee. Not too heavy, and absolutely to die for. And the sausages, cheese, and other deli items are great, too! With the friendly staff and amazing selection of yummy things, I cannot highly enough recommend this place for your next dinner party or your daily nibbling.
I work for a reputable company that happens to be a local green small business and saw the beautiful pictures of what this store has to offer online. So, to ensure efficiency, I attempted to reach out to ensure that they had cupcakes and fresh flowers. After an introduction in what sounded like a Slavic language and I began to introduce myself: the phone call was disconnected.
Fun little store with lots of yummy food. Good home made pickles! I had a freshly made sandwich and my wife ate a Piroshky. Both were very good.
A nice, neat shop with a fair choice of goods from CIS and Eastern Europe. It is the only grocery shop where I have found lard of a very good quality.
Great little store with a wonderful selection of deli meats. Very warm service, too.
Most of the food items are from Eastern Europe with a few things from western Europe.
