We got hot coffee not great. Boba drink might have been a better choice. The cheesecake was okay. Have had better. Not sure this was really a basque cheesecake as I’ve made one recently myself. The serving size for 1 is pretty large so come ready to share.Food: 4/5
Very popular place for desert in Korean Town. You can see a long line outside. The green tea shaved ice is very good. The portion is medium and can be for one or two persona. The service is very efficient even though the line is long.Food: 5/5
The creamy richness of traditional cheesecake with the flavors of espresso, cocoa, and mascarpone cheese typical of tiramisu. The result is a decadent dessert with layers of flavor that’s sure to please any coffee lover. The strawberry-rich cream paired with the chocolate waffle has a sweet taste that sets it apart from the rest. The sweet and tangy flavor of Mango Madness gives your taste buds a refreshing chill. Served over ice, Thai tea offers a unique combination of flavors that is both invigorating and satisfying. The sweetness of the condensed milk perfectly balances the boldness of the tea and the subtle spice notes, making each sip a truly enjoyable experience. It’s not just a drink, but a journey of flavors that excites the palate.
The atmosphere was great for Tuesday evening. people enjoying coffees, teas, and frozen tea Matcha desserts. They are open late Service was fast. You order as you come, and they give you a buzzer, and the baristas in back fill your order. Wifey got Vietnamese iced coffee, and I got the Vietnamese hot coffee. it was strong and delicious. no bitter taste. It was perfect. my hot coffee came with steamed milk.
Cozy albeit crowded spot in NY Koreatown. Open til late at night. Excellent service and great desserts. Waiters take your orders first before seating you and your party. It's self serve once inside. You pick up your order when it's ready, grab what you need by their self service station Utensils, cups, water. Overall great place to get dessert in the city
Are you walking around in this debilitating heat and need a cool dessert but want to try something new? Grace Street is THE place to go! Especially, if you have kids - they'll love what this place has to offer. Get off your train at Penn Station and walk a few blocks to K-town and you'll find this hype-deserving coffee and dessert shop. As soon as you walk into the small lobby, you're given menus and you pay up front. You're given a buzzer and seat yourself in the dining area. It's spacious with many tables, clean and bright. I appreciated that there are a couple of free water stations. Now, If you're familiar with Asian cultures, you know that each one has a shaved ice dessert to help to beat the heat. Grace Street, has several "shaved snows" that give a spin on the original Korean patbingsu dessert. We ordered a couple: The "O.G" - black sesame snow like a lighter, more delicate peanut butter flavor, mochi, red beans, strawberries, condensed milk and misugaru powdered roasted grains give a nutty, earthy, slightly sweet taste and the "Cookie Monster" - sweet milk snow, M&Ms, crushed Oreos, dark chocolate drizzle, and whipped cream. I highly recommend both! We also ordered tang hulu chilled, skewered fruits dipped in melted sugar, creating a fun, crackly and refreshing dessert and a "flight" of assorted mochi ice creams. When your buzzer gives you the signal, you go to the bar at the far end of the dining area to pick up your order. At first sight, your towering, well-accoutered shaved snows will cause your everyone's eyes to widen and all will exclaim "ooh", "wow" or "whoa.". They really are a spectacle. One snow could be good for two people... if you really want to share. What's great is that the texture and consistency of the snow is not like Western ice-cream or gelato: although creamy, you can eat a larger volume than ice cream because these shaved snows are lighter and fluffier - you could eat the whole thing if you really wanted. I almost did, but my wife thought otherwise. Eating the tang hulu is fun - bare your teeth and take a big bite! Spread a napkin on the table to catch the large pieces of falling sugar! Summer of 2024 broke heat records! I don't know if we can alleviate the global temperature but you CAN alleviate your personal temperature and even your climate-change anxiety by visiting Grace Street!
The desserts were very good. The original Basque Burnt cheese cake was very good, it had a nice balance of firmness and nice caramelization on the outside. Latte and Vietnamese was good too. Would definitely come back.Food: 5/5
This place has changed drastically since i started coming here, there is no service really, you just order, receive it and sit and enjoy it. But its cool, i come here out of nostalgia for the rose petal milk tea. Wish they still had croissants but their desserts are yummy !Recommended dishesRose Latte
Ordering was fast, it’s at the front when you come in and then got pick up your order in the back when the ringer goes off. There is plenary of seating and they have bathrooms. We got the green tea shaved ice and the match ice cream waffle for 3 people. We didn’t finish it as it was a lot, honestly you could share a dish with 3 people max and it’ll be enough for everyone. Both were so good and flavorful, I can’t wait to try items.
I had the Nutella waffle and sunset lemonade it was so good! I went 20-30 minutes after opening and it got a little busy fast but it was good vibes nonetheless I love that you have to order it first and they give you a little device to know when your order is ready! The staff is very attentive as well :Food: 5/5
