They used to be very good and convenient for the students. Now it is the worst place to live in my opinion. The staff are very rude! Jeff, the manager, is like a detective and he suspects anything you say and unbelievably rude! They new staff are all about money!
The residents, who mostly are graduate students, are good though, but I think more and more people are leaving this place!

Expect to have no water at least twice a month. Check out my inbox filter "plumbing" for all YTD "repair" emails

Okay for the price. But the staff is rude and the apartment complex is not aging well. Look around elsewhere before resorting to this place.

2.5 stars... Grad hills is an average apartment complex in this area. They used to have water problems very frequently in March-April, but now it's gone. One big advantage of staying here is that it's close to the university and there are frequent UM shuttle buses (even a NITE bus) during the semester.
However the rent is a bit on the high side. Also, heating and cooling of apartments is not up to us; it will be what the management decides. Cockroaches have infested most of the apartments. Of late, the management has takes some small measures to improve the quality of living.
