I came here because I was waiting for someone in the local area to get finished before I picked them up. So my experience is inside and I had a "takeaway" for my guest" My initial reaction is it looks like a decent place. Fairly neat, tables clean and the floor wasn't messy under the tables my visit was before noon. The coffee cup with advertisements on it made me chuckle. Good idea considering how expensive food is getting lately I had ordered a simple bowl of fruit. This was delicious and looked fresh. The big negative here was the service. They definitely had 3-4 people who were either at the door or taking your order at the table. I think the manager or owner was seated near the front but was sitting and talking with guests dining here My coffee order took a while had to ask two separate people to get it. My waitress was fairly nice, but had zero urgency or memory. She forgot my coffee and fruit bowl. It wasn't like they were crowded either so it wasn't that. They definitely had a laid back attitude imo She was very good at remembering my takeaway order, since I checked just before leaving she said it was already cooking. Between late coffee, late fruit and infrequent coffee refills I think they should work on the customer experience, especially when there aren't a lot of customers inside Because if they do, the food here is absolutely better looking and better tasting than the "DK DINER" down the street. I do plan on trying this place again. I hope to increase my review hopefully. Side note, the men's bathroom was fairly clean with paper towels and the bad cheap and thin toilet paper low on the wall placement. Otherwise nice, considering you can leave the door openthe the main bathroom door for one other person in case they need to use the stand-up urinal. Common courtesy is always a plus Parking: Parking was good, just dangerous because no one follows the arrows on the ground. Which means certain lanes are ONE WAY Wheelchair accessibility: I'm not sure handicapped parking was good. The front door had steps. But "maybe" you could park elsewhere near a ramp and roll down to their front door. Not sure... It might have it, it just looks not easily accessible sorry to say
New menu item -Huevos rancheros. Seriously the best breakfast plate I've ever had short of my own kitchen. Presentation, aroma, taste, mouth feel, and just the right amount of heat. Exceptional!Food: 5/5
Absolutely filthy… there was grime all over the place. We didn’t even order food as we saw the cups they gave us clearly hadn’t been washed and still had food grime and lip marks all over them. The menus had grease all over them and hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time. The booths were disgusting, and there was a shrimp tail just sitting on the floor. We paid for our drinks and left. The server was at least polite and understood.
IMMACULATE and GOOD FOOD TOO! The first thing I always do when I'm first seated in a diner is look at the table and the arrangement of condiments at the end of the table. This is a pretty accurate marker of what kitchen management is like. Gramms polished wood tables were sparkling and the containers of condiments looked right out of the store. Oh yes, the food is delicious and the service quick too.
This was my first visit here... it won't be the last! Angela, my server, was very good and nice. My food was tasty and well prepared.Food: 5/5
An above average diner with ample parking...conveniently situated off the busy and narrow West Chester downtown streets. The coffee, the avo on toast and the service were excellent.
Went there for breakfast. Great Food Great Service Very Nice will definitely come againFood: 5/5
I went here with my husband and a friend. We all got the same dish, the patty melt. They were very skimpy with the fries and the burger made us all sick. We were all in the bathrooms when we got home with diarrhea and vomiting. Will never go back.Food: 1/5
I was staying at the Chester County Hospital & my mom ordered me breakfast to be delivered, it's not legal for them to bring the food up so they have to send one of my nurses down to get it for me. Once the food was delivered, I was told, BUT they LEFT IT OUTSIDE IN 57° WEATHER! Not in a nice warm lobby. So, of course by the time ⏲ they got it for me - the food was cold! And THE ONLY THING I LIKED was the pasta salad hence bc it's supposed to be cold! The bacon was burnt, and the cream chipped beef - I don't even wanna get into.. needless to say eating Hospital food for weeks and FINALLY I get some REAL FOOD and was just super disappointed... -Erin
July 2022 Really great prices with an extensive diner-style menu. The sausage and egg sandwich was really delicious, as were the home fries. The chicken salad on croissant was excellent and the tomatoes were actually red and juicy. Everything was really fresh and not expensive, with wonderful service. Pleasantly surprised.
