I lived in the area for 3 years and this was the theater I went to weekly almost. This place is amazing with its Egyptian style them along with the classic movie poster.. the staff was always friendly and kind and the theater are extremely big and some small but was never disappointed when I came saw more then one.. The only complaint is have is the one time I paid for a ticket for my self and my 2 yr who wanted to see a kids movie and cashier never said anything about him being free but that was my bad for not reading and seeing. Even though I payed for both tickets we still had a great time seeing the movie...

Love this theater. The best in town in my opinion. Love the reclining seats! They are always nice and I like strolling through the hallways looking at all of the movie posters and different decor they have.

Voted best date spot! I agree! Tuesdays are 5 dollar movie tickets! They also have dbox seats and Atmos sound. They have bacon cheeseburgers but they need to add a double bacon cheeseburger. Once they add that the obvious step is to add a triple bacon cheeseburger. Just triple the bacon, not the patties. Also they don't have vegan options. I am a vegan.

I love this theater! Most of the seating is really comfortable there is usually plenty of room and they have a $5 movie night on Tuesdays.

The theater looks gorgeous inside (The Ten Commandments statue and pictures in one wing of the theater make me giddy, as does the overall Egyptian theme to the whole place), with great picture and sound and a vast array of goodies. However, there are no member benefits, and no free refills on large soda or popcorn. And speaking of that popcorn...it is toxic in large quantities, or with frequent visits to the place, often leaving me sick. Whenever I go to a movie, I crave popcorn like you wouldn't believe, so their popcorn is a big problem for me. One of the biggest reasons why I often choose the AMC Theater in town instead is because the popcorn there is to die for. I bring my annual bucket there and get it filled up for only $4.50 (plus tax), and after the movie I get a free refill on it. Even after going through the bucket twice in one day, I still crave the popcorn. If the Grand Theatre would fix its popcorn problem and give benefits to their customers through free refills on large popcorn and drinks, as well as possibly awards programs for returning customers, there is no question that it would be my go-to theater in Bismarck.
