Loved it! Very busy spot but staff were very efficient and friendly. Lots of tasty menu options. Reservations might be a good idea if you don’t want to wait during busy times. I would recommend and look forward to returning!

A friend recommended the place and I was disappointed by the service. Sat at the bar with my brother and had a few drinks while waiting for an order. It was busy and I was trying to be polite while we waited over 45 minutes for their seafood platter. I asked the bartender about it and he went to the kitchen to see what was up. Apparently it didn't get ordered/slip fell and the bartender said we can just pay for our drinks or order another one. Not really what a hangry guy wants to hear. Ended up paying and leaving (with little tip). Found they had a stand outside near the water and had some clam chowder and lobster rolls which were fantastic. So to sum it all up good seafood with a chance of poor service.

Every time we land in Lunenburg we hit up the Grand Banker for lunch. The price point is great and if you want awesome pub food/seafood overlooking the water then you're in luck. Inside it's air conditioned which is a definitely plus on muggy, hot days. The only downside is that if you're looking for outdoor seating, it's limited. They can probably only accommodate 6-8 people outside. However, this doesn't mean they don't deserve 5 stars. It's just a fact! The servers are consistently friendly and easy to chat with. Food is always yummy! Party on, Wayne.

Went to the Banker for lunch with my Daughters, Service was slow, fish was over battered. Not that i wouldn't recommend this place but it was a bit of a let down on a whole because we drove way out of our way to get there.. prices were not bad and beers were cold..

We had a great time with the kids, they finished their meals without putting a fight! My wife loved her seafood stew and I don't like seafood or fish but their burger was very good. I took the chips and cheese dip side and it was excellent. Good beer selection. We'll come back if we visit the city again. Very crowded on a beautiful Summer day so expect to wait outside for a while even if you get there early.
