A lovely place to stay. Indoor pool and nice sandy beach. Breakfast is limited, the concierge is nice they follow up with you and make sure everything is to your liking. They have a boat rentals right on the beach. Location is good, access to putt putt and a small, however, well stocked mini mart down the street. The only real issue (although not with the hotel) we had was traffic was unrelenting so it is a problem to get across the street.

Staff was very friendly. They provided us an upgrade upon arrival, and thoroughly explained all amenities. The hotel is an amazing place, especially with a 10 and a 7 yo. The beach was right out side our door, making a day in the sun amazing. Bathroom, fridge, and anything else just a few steps away from our hotel provided beach umbrella and chairs. Breakfast works, you're not going to get anything fancy, but having something this easy with the kids is perfect. Highly recommended for young families.

Just returned from 3 nights at the Grand Beach Resort Hotel in Traverse City. And it was wonderful. Not a true 5 star hotel - but it was clean, the room good sized, and the staff was wonderful, helpful and honest about the local attractions. Made some very wonderful and surprising recommendations. Had a beach front room (a must). Wife and I returned at the end of each day for a nightcap on our balcony. A beautiful, quiet time. I used to do a lot of business travel and have stayed in many hotels. This, overall, was one of the best hotel experiences I ever had. I would strongly recommend it. We will be back.

Completely offended and very disgusted! Have stayed at this resort many times in the last several years. Never paid more than $99.00 a night! I would be willing to pay a little more during the busy season but, called tonight to book a room for a doctor's appointment for my mom. 77 years old and limited mobility but can still access a normal room. A beach room was quoted well over $300 dollars!! Seriously?!?!? Highway robbery and very disrespectful to a loyal customer. They will never get my business again!!!! Nothing like gouging!

This stay was less than a positive experience. There was loud talking next door well beyond 11:00 O'Clock. After calling the desk twice the host offered to move us to another room. My wife and I are both elderly, moving at that time of the night was not a good option. We have stayed here on numerous occasions and have been happy with our time here, but this is not the only place up here.
