Great experience. A nice getaway from over priced diner food in NYC. This place is as simple as it gets with a very large menu and fair prices. Outdoor seating is available with a TV. My girlfriend had a problem with her food nothing was done incorrectly by the staff, she thought there were too many pineapples in her al pastor the staff got her a new dish and did not charge us for it. Staff was very friendly and the facilities were clean. Would recommend for a casual day out.
Casual dining. Service was prompt and professional. The staff were always on the move, making sure things were well run. The jalapeño burger was made exactly as requested, and had excellent flavor balanced with a mile heat. Fries remained crispy and warm throughout the meal. Dining buddy had a ham and cheese omelette + refried beans. 2 thumbs up for that order too.
We went as a school group with 20 students plus staff. Food is great, except some of us didn't love the fries because they are too thin. The lava cake is amazing!! Service and staff are very nice and great at their job. There is lot of space and is very accommodating to large groups. We will be coming back again!! Kid-friendliness: They have options for people who are vegetarian, kids, and gluten free.
I’m horrified. I’m a loyal customer for many years. The decorum in the restaurant was awful. I couldn’t hear because another patron was watching lewd and pornographic content at full volume. I had to move seats two times. Another area had a person who smelled like urine. I know the people who work there for years and they did nothing to help me. I got the food to go and it was in terrible shape, soggy and packed poorly. Unfortunately I can never go back to a place I loved and frequented for a long time. It’s truly tragic and unfortunate because Park Slope needs regular food restaurants that serve regular people. After years of overtipping, familiarity, and kindness, the way it was being run is rather shameful… -a hurt former customer who’ll never return.
Had such a bad experience. I've been coming here over 20 plus years. I ordered a omelet and it had parchment paper in my food. . I brought this matter to the manager and she had such bad attitude. Totally ignored the fact when i brought it to her attention. And stated that she didn't have time because she was busy and had other customers to attend to. Definitely lost a Good Customer Customer service Sucks.....
Wife got tired of overpaying for underwhelming experiences at fancy restaurants, so after wondering in Prospect Park for hours, she wanted to go home and see what our fridge holds. I offered to find a reasonably priced place and found this little diner. Southwestern theme, lots of mexican dishes plus regular diner fare. Wife had nachos with chicken and I ordered some kind of burger with Russian dressing and selected to go with waffle fries 2.50$ extra instead of regular fries. Portions were huge, we shared dishes and loved the food. No room for dessert, barely got up from the table as is. Friendly staff, waiter spoke english so he could explain the mexican menu to us. This is a small diner, with usual diner atmosphere, nothing special, nothing negative. All as expected. I appreciated no loud music blasting overhead, so we could relax and eat and talk. Definitely will come back again to try other tasty things.
Never noticed this place on 7th Ave Brooklyn, but I was pleasantly surprised at the service and the food. The menu has a wide array of regular diner food and Mexican . It's not to big and has outdoor seating so if you want a quick Mexican fix or breakfast you should check this place out.Food: 5/5
Service was very fast but unfortunately the food was less than great. Home fries were bland and the broccoli and cheese omelet was overcooked and under seasoned. All of this would have been easily overlooked if the prices online were actually accurate. Everything was 50%-100% more than what is stated on Google Maps menu, which was disappointing considering the quality of the food. Overall for a coffee, omlete and eggs Benedict = $35 with tip... I'd recommend another place
Good service, good food. I recommend the Hawaiian burger, its not on the menu but they'll make it for you if you ask. Its a half pound burger with pineappleFood: 5/5
Always friendly servers here and the food is amazing. They have lots of great American and Mexican choices here. I come here for breakfast often and I'm never disappointed. It's a great place to start of and springboard into the rest of your day!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
