Room: The room was pretty big, 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa. When we walked in the bedding was covered in dog hair. We called the front desk and they changed the bedding. It makes me wonder what else was left from the previous people. The shower curtain was stinky and dirty as well. Overall, not satisfied with the room. The people above us were jumping off the beds at 3am-6am. We had a sound machine and the A/C fan running the entire night to drown out the noise, but it just wasn't enough. Very disappointed! Restaurant - there isn't one. Unless the fryer and microwave behind a counter serving over priced, gross food count as a grille. More than domestic beer on tap though. That's about the only plus I could find. Water park- Its fairly small, so you can keep a close eye on kiddos. There are things for all ages. It's pretty dated and not in the best shape though. The lifeguards are a joke. I didn't feel comfortable having my child out of sight, even though she's a great swimmer. They don't enforce safety: running, taking turns on equipment, etc. We would never return. However, the Red Eye Brewery is a great place to eat if you're in that area! Best of luck!

We had a quick short trip here. King room with pull-out sofa was very spacious and comfortable. Water park was nice, but I wouldn't spend anymore than one day there. At night they had story time with cookies and milk for the kids, which was nice. Breakfast was very busy (Don't go at 9 am!), and only ok- but hey it was free.

This is a fantastic hotel, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back and recommend it to others. The hotel was very clean and nice spacious rooms. Our first room our remote didn't work and it was a connection issue with charter so they upgraded us to a suite that was amazing. The Waterpark was wonderful. My only complaint is i wish if your child isn't tall enough to ride the tube rides by themselves they could go with a parent. My almost 5 yr old was too short and was so sad she couldn't go down. We went to Mt. Olympus water park in the dells and she could go with an adult and loved the rides. This Waterpark is way better then the Mt. Olympus the water is warmer and more to do for the kids. Cannot wait for our next visit.

Best stay of our vacation. Clean as a whistle, nice showers, top notch breakfast and the water park is great for the price. Only downside would be that the height requirements for the water slides are a bit high.

The best place to stay for business or pleasure in Wausau and surrounding areas! The rooms are spacious and have large work station desks. Nothing like doing business from the lodge. The breakfast bar is spacious loaded with fresh fruit, boiled eggs, hot eggs, waffles and much more. I highly recommend staying here!
