Absolutely delicious. Had the pork soup dumplings, wonton in red oil, mapo tofu, dan dan noodle, twice cook pork and the cold beef trip salad. I recommend all of this. Everything was perfectly spicy and it came out super quick. Make sure to ask for extra chilli oil Food: 5/5
Small, comfortable, clean, and cozy environment. I've been here several times and tried several different items on the menu.... The food is absolutely amazing hereFood: 5/5
Amazing food but staff is racist. There were two of us and not many people at the restaurant. Each occupied table had 2 people and we were given the least spacious table. And of course everyone else at the restaurant was not brown skinned like us. Felt discriminated. They gave us our entree before our appetizers even though we specifically asked for the appetizers first. If only the staff was good also ‍
Stand out, authentic Sichuan joint that is far afield of the city’s many ethnic Chinese agglomerations. Certainly among the better options across many cuisines for the neighborhood and potentially worth a trip from other parts of Brooklyn and Staten Island. The dining room is small but accommodating. Take out is a great choice. Please do yourself a favor and look beyond the American Chinese options on the lengthy menu and try the classic and New Sichuan choices.
Can't believe there's a Sichuan restaurant in Bay Ridge. This restaurant is amazing! Try the red cooked pork belly and the dan dan noodles. I can't recommend this place enough!
This is our favorite Sichuan place in Brooklyn. If you are ordering off the “American Chinese” section, please don’t leave a review. This place has awesome SICHUAN food.
One of my favorite take out/delivery places. Be sure to order their fish&tofu, string beans that have wonderful bits of pork, and their fried beef strips that have the perfect balance of spices.
Best Chinese in Brooklyn. Some of it is quite spicy but it is possible to order more moderately spiced dishes too. Love the sweet and sour crispy fish which is vasy superior to any sweet and sour dish you've had before. Also good: the dandan noodles, the pork and pickled cabbage soup, the smoked tea duck, and much more. We didn't like the hot pot but hot pot devotees may be fine. Be warned the half-spicy hot pot is still pretty spicy. Update 2022 Sept. The above was true pre-pandemic. We've been there several times recently and the food has changed, and not for the better. Several dishes were poorly prepared. The staff were noisy and rude on this last visit. We're sorry, because they were a great restaurant, but no more. Time to find another Chinese restaurant of quality.
Still love the food But sooooooooooo expensive now Just ate my last meal there A bit sad —————————— Simply the best Sichuan food around. The family that runs the place are kind and extend quiet hospitality to everyone. Easily one of my family’s favorites!
The spicy Chendu dumplings were fine, but the General Tso's chicken was 80% filling and 20% chicken. Disappointed, and frankly not worth the price.
