Grantsburg is a very small town, and a very popular place for hunting, fishing, and low intensity hiking, it really is a beautiful place. This hotel is right in town, and it's very close to a couple of eating options. It is mostly a family run business, with only a few employees that work hard to try to accommodate you. There are a few pet rooms available and it's a non smoking hotel (and despite that, you'll always have that guy who does it, anyway). They do their best to keep the rooms clean, and provide fresh towels and toiletries. Additional appliances (like blow dryers) are available at the front and you can buy a pass to a quaint fitness center. I was treated like family when I came in, and provided a clean two bed room with a refrigerator and microwave, at a decent price. In my experience, the staff was professional and nice. My heater/ac worked and kept the room nice and toasty (I'm not good in the cold). Check in is at 3pm so they can clean the rooms. Way better than staying in a hotel in the cities and driving through town to get things done.

room was clean and nice. was in a quiet location. my only complaint were the beds were on the hard side. there is a gas station close by. Also a tavern down the road. overall great experience.

This was the perfect place to lay your head at the end of a long day! Clean rooms and quiet. There is no breakfast provided however...and no hot tub just in case you were wondering. But it's cheap!

Wasn't sure by rhe look but stay was great. Clean room and comfortable beds. Would recommend.

Location was picked because it was the most affordable and closest to our destination. It was perfect for what we were looking for. Decent and even cute. At night things were a little sketchy though with a lot of noise.
