For being the only restaurant in the middle of nowhere, I had low expectations for this place. I was so wrong! The menu was impressive and the decor was cute. I ordered the grateful gyro which came with fries and a pickle. It was very tasty and served as a wrap rather than on a pita. A friend ordered a cheeseburger which was cooked perfectly and was a handmade patty (not frozen). Probably the favorite dish was the steal my goat burger. It was a goat burger with pulled pork and goat cheese on it then wrapped in a dough and fried. So unique and so delicious. There was a mishap with that dish (apparently the dough pouch burst so had to be started from scratch all over again) so our whole table had to wait a while for all the food to come out. The waitress was very apologetic and brought us some homemade chips, still warm from the fryer! They were really tasty too.  If I head that way again I'd definitely stop back!

The owners of the Grateful Grill I am proud to say are a couple very close friends. After repeated trips there over the winter too eat, I can say the food is great, drinks are cold and great company! Whenever I'm in the area​ that's where I go to eat!
