Gravel & Grind specializes in new and used bikes for touring, town, bike packing and exploring. We are also an artisan coffee shop.

Story

Slow bikes and slow coffee. On the surface, Gravel & Grind is a bike shop that has an artisan coffee bar. But we are not a normal bike shop, nor are we a normal coffee bar. Our bikes are only made out of steel, the best and strongest frame material. We sell new and used bikes, but only ones that get our specific seal of approval. Simple shifters, tires for suspension, smart, durable and classic bike builds... These are the things that make beautiful bikes to us. We’re into adventures big and small: you’ll find touring gear, town bike baskets, loads of handmade goods, coffee outside gear, tiny tents, cook kits, great books on travel and everything else you need to have a go at bike adventuring. On the coffee side of things, we are the only artisan coffee shop in Frederick. We offer pour over single origin coffees, made slowly and exactingly. We can also knock out a killer espresso, latte, cortado...

Here’s the rub: we don’t have a retail space yet. It’s coming, this spring, in downtown Frederick, if all goes according to plan.
