I recently purchased a cottage with a Geothermal heating system. Not knowing anything about the system Ryan came and explained everything. I had a service done on it and they flushed the complete system. The guys were very knowledgeable and showed me how to maintain the system properly. They did a great job and were very clean and professional. I can rest comfortably now knowing I'm ready for winter. I also needed a couple of ceiling fans installed and the electrician was in and out in no time. I've had trouble getting trades to come and do work. Gravenhust Plumbing, Heating came when they said they would and did super work! I would highly recommend them.

Great service. Was in a no heat situation in December and was contacted right away by the general manager, they sent a furnace tech out to determine what needed to be done the next day. After it was decided I needed a new furance they were really fast to reply to my emails as we worked out details around a new furnace, financing and fuel supplier. All was installed and taken care of before Christmas. I would highly recommend Gravenhurst Heating.

Customer service is non-existent. The office staff won't reply to phone calls nor emails. After spending thousands of dollars, I had an issue with finding out how my new kitchen plumbing was configured because my new dishwasher won't draw water and nobody is calling me back. All I need is for the plumber who installed the new pipes to tell me where the dishwasher incoming water pipe is (and it's not from the same pipes as the sink which is right next to it). I spoke to a Janine who promised to pass on the message "tomorrow" and I got no reply. I then spoke to a Mike and he promised someone would call me back the same day. This was 2 days ago. I had to hire someone else to fix their mess. Earlier, I called to ask about details on a particular invoice. After many phone calls and emails with Janine I got nowhere. I finally received a reply from a Ryan Solman who promised to look into these charges for work that I can't see was done at all. After a few emails, he got back to me saying it was for the washer-dryer. I have no washer dryer. When I told him this , he never replied. Unfortunately, I had already paid the invoice prior to reviewing it in detail and they took my money without ever explaining what exactly that invoice was for. I have no washer and dryer so I am still curious what they charged me for.

I purchased and had installed a Valor gas fireplace from GPHE. The thermostat didn't work but it took several weeks to get a new one. I had to consistently follow up with emails and phone calls without hearing back. When the technician finally went in to replace the thermostat, s/he didn't configure it to the original settings so that it would turn on when it got cold. More importantly, they didn't tell me that the technician had gone into my place, leaving my place completely vulnerable to freezing temperatures. I had to drive up to the cottage to set the thermostat correctly, 3 weeks after the technician went in. This is unacceptable when you pay $5000 for something. For me, what determines whether I give repeat business is whether I get exceptional service even when I've already paid for the product. This didn't happen here and it's a risk I'm not willing to take when deciding on whom I should go with for my next project.
