This newly renovated playground is large. Approximately 8 million was spent towards this renovation. They have a kosher pizza and ice cream shop across the street.
This is the perfect place for field sports, can play soccer, baseball, and anything else of the sort. Great area for athletes in the summer and spring playground is very impressive the children. Also this is a very good place to go with family and friends! They have a medium of fields there and they are big! It’s full of greenery which is hard to find in NYC! It’s just an amazing place to visit very great location since there is lots of other things … The B8 bus stop is next to the door ..
Big park with many playground options, the kids loved it, there are some for older kids and others for little ones, many places to sit , though I wish there was more shade. Another downside is that there is garbage strewn about, mostly in the grass areas. Otherwise, it's a fun park to spend the day in.
Very nice playground, with something for all ages. Benches for grownups to watch their kids are usually in the sunny areas. Beautifully landscaped. Some cons: The new monkey bar/swinging ring-climbing structure. Really, who designed this? Did they ask children or parents for input? Did they review the design while they were installing it? A very short course monkey bars/swinging rings, awkwardly spaced and awkwardly placed--the steps to the climbing structure are right near the rings, putting kids who want to get on it at risk of being kicked in the head by the kids lucky enough to get a chance to use the rings plus, the swinging kid has to watch out for the other kids. THIS CAN EASILY BE CORRECTED BY DETACHING THE STEPS, TURNING THEM IN THE OTHER DIRECTION, AND REATTACHING THEM, so that kids could enter from the other side. Also, the round structure connected to the rings is a total waste of space and the little steps connecting the poles are at a perfect height for people to trip over. THIS CAN EASILY BE CORRECTED BY PUTTING MORE RINGS OR MONKEY BARS BETWEEN THE POLES. And finally, the bathroom, despite all the money put into it, often has no paper.
Great park, well worth a trip from midwood. Best playground I've seen in a while.
Great park for kidd, so much to do and alot of space to run around and cool things to climb on Playground: multiple plat areas Restrooms: very clean
beautifully removated. spacious. seems safe with the rubber flooring in the playground area. very modern. lots of different things for kids in the gym area such as rope bridge and telescope at top of moat that at it already from other parks. special - would go again
This park is great they turned it into Narnia compared to the old days. Now it's very pretty tons of Jewish families well maintained you almost feel like your not in Brooklyn
