Not a massive 'box' where you can never find the product you're looking for or anyone knowledgeable to help you.

I rarely go to Gray True Value because each time the staff has very little knowledge.  The latest was calling and asking for a specific driveway sealer off their webpage.  I gave them the price, the model and the style.  They said they have plenty.  When i got there they had none.  They don't know the difference between sealer and crack filler.  To make the experience worse the other employee lied saying I asked for a filler.  I asked if they have ever heard of a 5 year crack filler esp for the price I gave them.  For wasting my time there response was oh well, next customer.  No attempt to resolve wasting my time.  This has happened before with them.  Lowes and Home Depot at least has knowledge of their products.  I would love to support local stores but not local incompetence.  I would rather here I don't know then "Sure, come up and get the 10 buckets."  Who needs 10 buckets of crack sealer.  Incompetence.

No matter what I need, they seem to have the products and knowledge. Sometimes I am not sure about how to repair something on my own, like a rusted tank bolt on my toilet but the very funny, smart gentleman walked new through the parts and process and in less than an hour $12.00 later success! 
Whenever I need a repair part or to get home goods this is the best place in town. I don't feel there are many businesses left today that have hard working polite staff, this place does. They always go above and beyond. I highly recommend this hardware store, if they don't have what you need they will help you find it!
