I have had only outstanding experiences at this Great Clips on Hunts Club Corners. I used to spend hundreds sometimes two hundred on my hair and now I just spend $20. It is awesome to get a great cut for the price it is supposed to be at. My hair is short so there isn't much of it to cut to begin with and I like it that way. I have gone to two or three different people and they have all cut my hair to my liking. Not all the same but just what I needed and asked for. I guess some women can be too picky with their hair. I'm from the school, who cares, it's hair, it's gonna grow back!

I am sick to death of getting my hair mangled by hairdressers at Great Clips who don't listen at all and just give you what their limited abilities dictate. This particular facility had one decent cutter by name of Kristel who I found at another GC salon and followed over to this one. She''s the only cutter I've ever had at Great Clips who knew how to cut my hair the way I like - anyone else and it's always been a complete crap shoot what kind of a horror cut I'd end up with. I ended up getting so sick and tired of having my hair ruined through the years that I grew my hair out for four years and kept it in a pony tail rather than have it butchered by lousy hairdressers. The hair just ended up getting so tedious that I decided to finally get it cut, and through sheer luck I happened upon Kristel at the nearby Jamestown salon, who gave me the first decent cut I'd had in years. I stuck with her from that point on, even when she moved over this particular salon on Hunt Club.

I turned up yesterday to find that Kristel no longer works there, and as I was about to walk out the manager stated that it would be okay because "Kristel would have left notes" - a blatant lie. The woman I was handed to didn't look anything up, asked me how I liked to get my hair done, then proceeded to give me the worst cut I've ever had in my life - even after I showed her a photograph of how I like getting my hair done. I normally like to have the top of my hair kept long and the sides cut in such a way that it flows back over my ears - by the time this  idiot finished with my hair I looked like I was headed for the marines. I tried running my hands through my hair along the sides afterwards but couldn't - because there was nothing to run my fingers through. My wife says its the first time she's seen my scalp showing through after getting my hair cut. She thinks its some kind of Hispanic cut - funny, but last time I looked I'm not of a Hispanic background. It's going to take at least 6 months to grow my hair back out to where it should have been. 

I'm sick and tired of dealing with Great Clips and its resident hair butchers - it's the one place I've gone to through the years in dread because I'm always nervous of how bad it's going to be. I also don't appreciate being lied to by a store owner/manager who was prepared to spout out anything she could think of to try and stop me walking out once I realized the hairdresser I liked and trusted no longer worked there. Stay away from this place, and Great Clips in general. If you really care how your hair looks pay the extra and go find a decent hairdresser elsewhere.

A follow up to the response from GC. What a pile of BS - firstly, the address is plainly in evidence, so spare me the garbage about wanting to be helpful - this is just a case of cut and paste spin-doctoring to cover the company's arse. Unless you have some magic formula for making hair grow back instantly there's nothing you can do, and you know it. Furthermore, as you have a resident liar managing the salon you don't seem to be in any haste to do something about it.

These people are professional honest fast top quality service. Had my hair cut there for 15 years. Claire and the girls rock.
