Filled out the necessary forms included death certificate and his will. Didn't hear back from anyone.  I called Great Iowa Treasure Hunt approx. 3 weeks ago.  Had to leave a message.  Left a message that I was my brothers beneficiary and he has passed 6/27/17, gave them the claim number and advised them of the number they could call me back and give me the status of my claim. Didn't hear back from them so I had to call again,  I left another message.  I wonder if anyone is going to call me back and advise me of the status or what is the next steps that I need to do, its not a small amount owed maybe that might be why.   I didn't even want to give them one star but they wouldn't post my comments if I had't.

This is a great online service and so easy to use. I found almost $400 for my mother and the process was quick and easy. The staff at the Treasurer's Office were professional and knowledgeable. They made everything easy to understand, and the entire process took less than a month.
