"Our mission is to make the St. Louis region a more vibrant place to live, work and play by developing a regional network of greenways. We are a public agency, created by a vote of the people in St. Louis City, St. Louis County and St. Charles County in the year 2000 that created a sales tax dedicated to parks and greenways. Those funds allow us to collaborate with partners and communities to build, care for and bring to life your network of greenways, creating healthy habitats and watersheds along the way. It’s an honor to deliver on the community’s vision for a vibrant, connected region. 128 miles of greenways paved, accessible pathways and counting!"

Making money to destroy others lives and destroy nature under the guise of protecting nature and improving quality of life. We are in need of a vote to disband Great Rivers Greenway. Paved asphalt is bad for nature and toxic. Update after response on 11/10/2023 It is not opinion that asphalt is bad for the environment. I invite all to look at the long term studies of asphalt in wetlands and forests. Also look how there were recent studies in Cliff Cave Park about polluted water. Great Rivers Greenway wants the public to believe there isn't studies of the negative effects of using and burying asphalt a practice they frequently use to save time and money. I personally watched Great Rivers Greenway hire a contractor that buried trash, threw cigarette butts on the grounds, and destroyed one of two of St. Louis County's heritage parks. I also understand Great Rivers Greenway claim nonprofit but the employees and the contractors they hire still get paid to work so don't be fooled by the claims they don't profit. How many volunteer for the job vs how many get paychecks to keep destroying parks and contracting businesses lobbying in their favor?
Love the restaurants & friendly spacious atmosphere.
I've never seen a municipal organization so committed to building and maintaining community. Literally making connections between neighborhoods.
Tiffany at the front desk is so welcoming. Such a neat office space.
One of the most important organizations to the St. Louis metro area.
