I've spent a fair amount of time in southern China, including in the markets. Shopping at Great Wall takes me right back. It's a huge, chaotic bazaar. With a fair amount of bargains. Lots of vegetables and other produce, very active butcher/fish market and aisles and aisles of dry goods and small furnishings. Don't go if your looking for personal service. It's every person for him or her self. It's obviously popular with the local Chinese/asian community. Some goods are poorly marked in English--or not at all. I especially like the utensils, pots and dishes/bowls selection.

Don't buy ground pork here! The meat section is really affordable, so I bought the ground pork for 99ct per lb. I got home and made egg rolls, when I fried it up, the meat was pink. First I thought it was still raw, so the next day I tried again. The meat was definitely done, but is was still pink. So my conclusion was that they have put food color into the meat to make it look fresh. I'm a little bit sad, after I found this out, I always buy meat here. for the rest everything here is really afforable.

It has a variety of vegetables, and most of them are fresh and cheap, which is very impressive. The meat department, though, has a lot to be desired. In addition, some Mexican music is alway playing in the meat and seafood departments, which is rather noisy and sometimes can drive customers away. Some of the customers have ill-manners, and they somehow manage to make the just-cleaned bathroom dirty very quickly.

Awesome produce section. Ingredients I cannot find anywhere else. Great seafood. And a wonderful food court! What's not to like!

This Asian market has great amount of good produces! There are plenty of good Asian snacks. I normally go here after work for a quick gorcery shopping because it's located behind my work place!
