Usually dependable while the drivers are split in half when it comes to being friendly. I hate getting on the bus and saying hello and getting an evil stare in return. I wish it was mandatory to have a positive attitude while driving for the rta. I also understand that they deal with all types of people while on route so i give them some slack. I have met plenty of interesting good people while riding the buses. A 31 day pass is a smart investment if you plan to ride often.

As with any bus system. It has its ups and downs. But for reliable transportation at a economical price. You can't beat it. And here in Dayton Ohio it covers a lot of territory for a minimal amount of fair.

Very bad drivers have turned me away from the rta.. By very bad I mean that most are rude and nasty to customers/riders.. all of the hubs are nice and clean with personable staff.. 2 stars RTA start cleaning up the drivers attitudes and focus on customer service..

I appreciate public transportation, but the drivers can be very rude and condescending.  The majority of them act like the customers are been beneath tv them.

Vendors with decent food at reasonable prices. Only two private restrooms(men's and women's). Ambassadors on patrol to help you find your way. Walk up window with a real, live person to answer questions. Police presence for security.
