GGC inspected our house and outbuildings after a major hail storm. They then called our insurance company to come out and inspect. We had a claim filed for a new roof, siding and gutter. Installed the following spring by some of the best guys in the area! We are always pleased with any work they do and several of our neighbors have new roofs that look great thanks to the work they did on ours.

I bought a house that had sewer problems that were not disclosed, so you can imagine my distress at being faced with an expense that was not anticipated. I had difficulty finding someone that was willing to give me a quote, let alone willing to take on the job. Greater Gallatin Contractors were referred to me and I found that they were professional, responsive, and just plain decent guys to work with. We uncovered a mess that a previous contractor had created/left and they did a permanent fix. We can now flush the toilet, do dishes, and shower! Sweet. I highly recommend working with these guys!

Horrible, horrible, HORRIBLE! Awful business practices and owner. Stay away from Greater Gallatin Contractors. If you want quality work by honest professionals look elsewhere.

At first he told me he'd be here to get me a quote but then he delayed it by a few days because it was raining.  I finally came over about 3-5 business days after he first said he'd be here.  I told him what I wanted quoted and he said he'd email me the quote.  On June 11 I emailed him so he'd have my accurate email address.  On the 13th I emailed him again because I hadn't received it.  On June 14 I called him because I still hadn't received it and he said it got returned back to him because he typed in my email address wrong.  He could have called that day instead of me having to call him.

I received the estimate for several things I needed done.  Install fence posts, design and install irrigation, install dry well, remove brush pile.  It was not itemized so I had no idea what things were going to cost, and it was missing some costs for some things I had asked for, one of which was installing the irrigation tubing, valves and timers and I'd install the heads but he didn't itemize nor did he tell me what that would knock off of the price.

I called him within 2 days and told him I wanted just the fence posts installed and the brush pile removed.  He told me it would be 2 weeks before he could do anything.  Not a problem.

June 21 I emailed him to ask when I should call to have the gas and phone lines marked, he replied "anytime this week.  I'm planing on being there the first part of next week if the weather holds out for us".

I emailed him on Jun 28 at 8:11 AM to ask him to call 20 minutes before he showed up.  He didn't show.  Late that morning I called him and he said he couldn't do it until later in the week.  We agreed on Friday July 2nd at 830 or 9AM.  At 1020AM or so I called him and asked him where he was and he said he couldn't do it until Tuesday.  I told him to forget it and I'd find someone else.  I tried finding someone but got no answer at any place I called so I emailed him and told him to show up at 9AM sharp or don't come at all.  I didn't hear back so my wife called later that day and left him a voicemail that we were expecting him at 9AM on Tuesday the 6th.  He emailed me, not called, at 730AM telling me he couldn't be here and that he could be here by the end of the week.

I called 3 other places to get quotes and one even came out within an hour of my call.  I decided on one and even called the other 2 back to tell them that, so they didn't have to hold time open for me.

On Jun 7, at 11:50AM Mark from this place finally called and said he could be out today but I told him I found someone else.

To those that read this, I hope you find someone else too.

If someone wants my business they will show up when they say they are going to and CALL when they are going to be delayed instead of me having to call an hour after our appointment only to find out that he can't come at all.

I don't care what the reason is, if you can't show up on time, either have the courtesy to call your customer or get fired.

Even though he didn't do any work, I feel it very necessary to share my experience so that others may not suffer as I have.
