One of the first things I did when I started my business in the area was join the Newburyport Chamber. I have been a member for almost three years now, and during that time, the Chamber has well exceeded my expectations. The staff and Board of Directors are a well-organized team and they all genuinely care about the success of local businesses. The staff puts together countless events throughout the year, all of which help business owners network and share their unique products and services. I have joined other Chambers in the North Shore and none of them can compare to the quality of the Newburyport Chamber and its members. Not only have I generated numerous clients over the past three years, I have developed close personal relationships as well. If you are looking for a way to promote yourself or your business, generate new clients, make new friends, and get to know others in the community, you should seriously consider joining the Newburyport Chamber.

I have been a member of the Newburyport Chamber of Commerce for a little over two years, and during that time I have really seen my business flourish. Through their Eye Openers & monthly Mixers, I have been able to meet other local business and network in a way that has been extremely beneficiary! Along with the business aspects the Chamber provides, I have also met some of my closest friends through those same events. I cannot say enough positive things about their staff! The Chamber is a welcoming group, and I recommend any body in the area to reach out to them!

This chamber does not support local business. As a member for two years I saw the chamber award contracts to out of town companies for services that my local business can provide My pricing is fair and competitive. Until the chamber is restructured, and free of cronyism, I would put my networking dollars elsewhere.
